Heatonist is a hot sauce subscription service that was founded by Noah Chaimberg in 2013. Heatonist offers a monthly delivery of three all-natural hot sauces, a limited edition sticker, and a note from the Hot Ones crew. Subscribers get first access to the newest sauces from each season's lineup, as well as limited editions from favorite makers and Heatonist exclusives. Each box includes one milder sauce, one medium sauce, and one sauce that pushes the heat meter into the red. With Heatonist, customers can build their hot sauce collection with exclusive and hard-to-find sauces.

Heatonist's Shipping Policy

Heatonist offers a simple shipping policy for US customers, with a flat rate of $6 per order regardless of the number of bottles purchased. Orders are shipped via USPS and typically arrive within 3-5 business days, although there may be delays due to COVID-19 precautions. Unfortunately, expedited shipping is not currently available. For international customers, shipping costs and times are calculated at checkout, and packages are transferred from the US postal service to the recipient's local postal service. Customs, tariffs, and duty fees may be due upon delivery and are determined by the recipient's country.

Heatonist's Return Policy

Heatonist allows customers to return their orders as long as the outer packaging is unopened within 30 days of purchase. To return an unopened package, customers can simply write "return to sender" on the shipping label and put the package back in their mailbox or hand it to their postal worker. If the outer packaging has been removed but the sauce is unopened, customers must pack the sauce up as best they can and ask their local post office for help. The company does not accept returns for opened sauces. If a customer is not satisfied with the sauce they received, they can email Heatonist with the specifics, and one of the sommeliers will suggest a sauce they might like better.
