About Grind

Grind is a coffee company founded in 2011 by a group of passionate coffee lovers. Grind has since grown to become a beloved brand with a state-of-the-art coffee roastery and several cafes across London. Grind's philosophy is that coffee can be a force for good, and they are committed to making sustainable and ethical coffee accessible to everyone. Grind's home-compostable coffee pods for Nespresso machines are a standout product, made with organic and ethically sourced coffee from sustainable farms around the world. Grind's commitment to sustainability extends to their packaging, which is plastic-free and home-compostable.

Grind Pros & Cons according to customers

Pros
  • The website is clear and it's easy to order. The first order also comes with complimentary tins.
  • The coffee tastes great and it's a fantastic addition to have the brand at home after visiting Grind coffee shops in London.
  • The compostable pods are a positive feature and the new dark blend decaf has a strong and flavorful taste.
  • The coffee pod machine has a slick appearance and the coffee tastes perfect.
  • Delivery is fast and the product is nicely packaged. The customer is truly delighted with their purchase.
  • The decaf coffee from Grind is the best the customer has tasted and they're happy with their purchase.
  • The customer service provided is amazing, and they follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Cons
  • The dark and light blends lacked strength and flavor, requiring copious amounts to get any taste.
  • The coffee is weak and overpriced.
  • Grind launched a billboard campaign against a customer who left a less than favorable review on TripAdvisor.
  • The House blend was okay, but the decaf pods broke the customer's machine, and Grind refused to replace or offer help to fix it.
  • Grind's subscription service is poorly designed and the customer service representative, Zara, is unhelpful and blames the customer for issues.
  • Grind does not accept returns even if the product is unopened and the customer has proof.

Grind's Shipping Policy

Grind offers free delivery for all subscription orders in the UK, EU, and USA. For one-off purchases, free delivery is available for orders over £20. The brand currently ships to these three regions only, but is working to expand its delivery options. All international shipping costs are calculated at checkout, while subscription orders are shipped for free. The brand does not accept PO box numbers and can only deliver to physical street addresses.

Grind's Return Policy

Grind accepts the return of non-coffee products and pods within 30 days of receipt, provided they are in perfect condition, unopened, and in their original packaging. The customer must cover all return costs, and the company reserves the right to withhold any refund at any time. Whole Bean and Ground coffee products cannot be returned unless they were delivered incorrectly or damaged in transit due to their perishable nature.
